Mazen abdalla, md, facp

Serving our Snellville, Conyers, Covington, Loganville and Lawrenceville locations, Dr. Mazen Abdalla is a board certified Nephrologist with over 25 years of national experience in treating patients with kidney diseases.

He completed his residency training at Cornell affiliated hospitals. He then completed his fellowship in Nephrology at New York University hospitals.

Because of Dr. Abdalla's interest in kidney transplantation and intensive care management of patients with kidney diseases, he further completed elective training at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and Montefiore/Albert Einstein hospitals.

Dr. Abdalla has several publications which were published during his training and also during his post-doctoral fellowship at Yale University hospital. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine at Emory.

Dr. Abdalla is also the Medical Director over DaVita Dialysis in Conyers and Covington. He is accepting new and establisted patients at Conyers, Covington, Snellville, and Lawrenceville locations.

divakar jammalamadaka, md

After graduating medical school in India, Dr. Jammalamadaka completed residency in the UK and obtained a MRCP degree. Subsequently, he moved to Waterbury, CT where he did an Internal Medicine residency at Saint Mary’s Hospital, a Yale university affiliated program. 

Subsequently he did his clinical research in Acute Kidney Injury and Biomarkers at Yale university for 1 year. He later moved to Augusta, Georgia where he worked for 3 years as a Hospitalist in Internal Medicine. For his fellowship in Nephrology, he trained at Augusta University Hospital before he joined The Kidney Clinic in 2016.

Dr. Jammalamadaka is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. His clinical interests include Acute Kidney Injury, Chronic Kidney Disease and Resistant Hypertension.

He is the Medical Director for the DaVita Lilburn Facility.
Currently he is accepting new patients at the Snellville, Lawrenceville and Lilburn locations.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and pursuing spiritual and philosophical interests.

Abhinandan Pakanati, MD

Dr. Abhinandan Pakanati is a board certified Nephrologist. He started with The Kidney Clinic on September 1, 2018. 

Dr Pakanati graduated from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, India. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency from MacNeal Hospital, Berwyn, IL in 2013. Later he joined Baylor Scott and White Hospital, Texas A&M College of Medicine, Temple, TX as a Nephrology Fellow, where he graduated in June 2015. He worked for three years in Maine.

Dr Pakanati is the Medical Director of DaVita Grayson, DaVita Covington Mills and DaVita Conyers At Home. He is accepting new and established patients at our Conyers, Snellville, and Lawrenceville locations.

Tabria joined The Kidney Clinic in 2022 as a Nurse Practitioner.

Tabria has extensive experience with end stage renal patients. She has worked in the capacity of a dialysis facility manger for 15+ years as a renal nurse. She was a registered nurse for 14 years prior to completing her training as nurse practitioner. 

In her free time she likes spending time with family and going to the beach.
